I have live rock and a bit of live sand, should I be running my skimmer? I have been for a week now and see absolutely no gunk. The only thing I have in the tank is a bristle star fish, couldn't get him out of the rock.
Edited to add: Scratch that...just a teaspoon of gunk, just checked it now.
