Sick fish, need help!

Anyone know what this is? Sorry the pics are not good. There is a white ball right next to the mouth. It is affectuing both males. The other one has a small patch right above his mouth. They are acting normal, out and swimming and not breathing heavy. I noticed this starting yesterday. I just brought them home last Saturday and they have been in QT since.

I was going to ask B, but they are closed Sunday and Monday so I was trying to get an answer before then. A few people have said fungal infection which was my first guess, but I won't to be sure befroe any action is taken. At this point I have just done a water change to improve water quality and starting feeding garlic soaked foods.
