ok my skimmer just blew up.. will my tank be ok for a mounth without one. got to wait for my taxes to get a nice one.

Blew up? Whatcha mean? Yeah tank will be ok but might want to aerate the water a bit more now that the o2 is not getting mixed in from the skimmer. A power head churning the surface does a good job and might want to increase your water changes while you wait for your new one to come in cause of the decrease in filtration.

ok thanks was going to put a air stone and pump in my sump. I had a d&d termantor 2 and it stopped working i went to clean it and the ventir cracked. the thing was a major pia. so it is not a major loss. i bought a new sump and was going to up grade it any way. was looking at a bubble magnes cone skimmer.
