Snail Egg Question

Yeah, they make really cool photos, but what does everyone do with their snail eggs after the photo has been taken? My cerith snails have gone a little nuts the past couple nights, and they don't even make a cool egg pattern. No one seems interested in eating them, is it best to scrape and syphon or let them hatch in hopes a couple make it?
