Snail with out a shell

Has anyone every seen a snail with out a shell? I have one and this snail has been like that for 6 months now. He must of came in on a coral because I did't buy him. This snail can move really fast to??

It's happened before, but its pretty rare. I dont think anyone knows why it happens... but in the last link, theres a picture of a stometella. Does it look like that?

Must be stometella, those suckers move pretty fast compared to snails.
