SPA Flex vs. Schedule 40 Flexible PVC

Does anyone use any of either Flex SPA or Schedule 40 Flexible PVC in their tank plumbing? If so what is the difference between both I couldn’t find anything online to explain differences? Also how do you glue either, do I just use the regular PVC cement?

I am looking to hookup a chiller to the feed pump, the chiller will be place outdoors so it does not heat up the room and it is also loud, I was thinking of using a flexible kind of plumbing so it is easier to work with around corners, etc.

Any advice?

Spa Flex

I'm not sure what the difference is but I use one of these (not sure which) and used regular PVC cement. I am 99% sure that the regular cement can be used on either of these "flex pipe" variants.

Also, the flex pipe, by avoiding sharp turns, reduces the head pressure on your main pump. I used straight rigid PVC on long straight runs and the flexible PVC pipe from my drain bulkheads to the rigid PVC.

I'm pretty sure that the 2 are interchangeable. I did the same thing as chuck with a recent tie-in to my 72. I used purple primer and standard PVC glue. The 60 feet of return line 'held' with my reeflo tarpon opened all the way up

Thanks very much for the feed back. I found SPA Flex @lowes which I am going to use. It is great to know that it can be used with flexibility and no adverse effect on the tank.
