Bulldozer Shrimp
WOOOHOOO. After all this time .. I have put about 30 lbs of cured live rock in my tanks and lots of live sand. Now I can and have spent hours and hours watching insects and shrimp like things crawling around in and out of the rock. How cool... Amonia is 0 and nitrites .1 havent really seen a spike.

I did notice a segment of Bristle worm and the claw of some sort of crab in a hole in the rock. No decription of the crab yet as he likes the dark and withdraws into his hole when the flashlight approaches. So I put a small piece of shrimp near his hole and all of a sudden the piece is being drawn up into his hole. Still havent seen him but saw the worm. Saw a couple of Hitchikers snails, very tiny. one is oval shaped and pyramidal and the other is spiral and brown and white.

I am so excited

Congratulations, it is very exciting indeed. It's amazing, the creatures that live our tanks. :)

Keep an eye on that crab. He could be evil.

Evil crabs

Been trying desperately to ID the bugger but ne is definately a recloose. I am trying to get him out by offering food .

Just had a laugh.. have seen a couple of bristle worms already . One live with the crab. The other is in a hole in the rock and he was in a tug o war with something that lives in the sand. They were both trying to claim a piece of shrimp. The sand monster won.
