Sump Design Question

I have a sump that has only two chambers; the chamber with the drain, and the chamber for the skimmer and return pump. Is this design going to significantly reduce the skimmer efficiency? Should I add a third chamber for the skimmer exclusively? If so, should it go drain/skimmer/return? Should the baffle for the third chamber be the same height as the highest of the other baffle?

In my opinion I think 3 chambers would be best. If you are skimming in the same as the return you will get a lot of bubbles in your display.

I have to agree with jazzsam if you can go three then do it!!! my old design was three chambered. first inlet then bubble trap second was skimmer, reactors, probs, heater ect.... you get the point! third was return pump only.
