Sump/Display flow

I have a 90 galllon display tank and I'm trying to increase the flow through my sump. Following the 10-15x gallon flow rate, I was going to get a Mag Drive 12 (1200 gallon/hr). With two MP40's, will that be to much flow in the display?

What kind of livestock will you be keeping?

2 MP 40s will provide great flow in the display, so much so that you could easily run a slower flow through the sump. A mag12 would work fine as a return, but also know that they are pretty low end pumps and there are much better quality alternatives for a little more $$.

I want to keep pretty much everything, with the possible exception of SPS's (because I don't trust my understanding/skill level at this point). I was looking at the Eheim return pumps, but I didn't see anything that did more than 900 gallons/hr.

I use a eheim 1262, 900 gph+- after head loss mostlikely 800, on a 125 it plenty of return flow. Most people want 3-7 times volume on the return pump and you make the real flow with power heads in the tank. I have 2 mp40's and they are turned down. 1200 in a 90 might be over kill for your return.
