T5's: Best brand and color???

I need to replace the T5 actinic's on my fixture. It's used as supplemental actinic for the halides. I've always used PC's so which is the best brands? Also, should i go with t5 blue or actinic or a mix????? Any opinions?

the blue + seem to be a nice color, really brings out the colors.

alot of people are not happy with the t5 actinic life...and thus went to blue plus.

One of our vendors wont even carry actinic t5 for this reason.

I like and use actinic +, now called blue plus.

if i were you i would go with vho's for actinic i've had t5's and i had pc's but the best is the vho's for attinic everything reef got me a ballast and end caps pretty cheap i would look in to vho's

If you're looking for cheap, VHO is a bad idea. A ton of electrical input for nowhere near the light output.

Yeah, I read that the actinic's only last 6 months?????? That's the only reason i am buying new ones so soon.
