Just another thing to maintain and break . I took out filter socks and don’t run a fleece roller. Tried them and my stress level increased lol. Fill this chamber with live rock ,

My 2 cents:
1. Filter roller does not do as good a job as filter socks, provided you do use filter socks. As many detritus will flow over the roller sheets.
2. More things to break and more expensive to run.
I won’t consider it for my tanks and I don’t even use filter socks.
