tank crashed

so i wake up this morning to a cloudy mess i like to call a tank. i dont know what happened overnight, but i can't see any fish and the corals are all slimed up. temp is 78.5 and sg is 1.025, havent tested anything else but what could cause this to happen overnight?

did a powerhead fall into your sandbed?

did an anemone get sucked into a powerhead

did something toxic die? (sea cucumber, etc)

did a heater or pump fail and dump toxic metal into the tank?

the questions could go on and on........

no power outage, no loose powerheads, no anenomes or anything toxic in the system, temp is still correct and theres only 1 heater, it seems like everything is running like its supossed to, i'll have to start interrogations now... see if anyone dumperd anything into the tank, or used heavy duty cleaners near it...

a bad PH or alk swing could cause significant coral death, or even fish death.. which would lead to ammonia/nitrate issues.. which would lead to other issues of course.

Ha i knew it. It took me so long today to convince my GF there was a a computer virus going around and i didn't want her using her laptop cuz its not updated or has any virus protection. She just thought it was me playing an april fools joke till she saw it on the news 2 hours later.

I could do that....Have to get it mounted where the old ones are which I may do over this weekend....
