Woooooooo.......
Long day moving our Reef Tank. I woke up about 8am to start bagging the corals, inverts and fishys:.. Once that was complete a group of friends showed up to help load everything up and make the move. About 11:30am we were all packed up and on the road. Arrived at the new house a little before noon.
We began by setting the frag tank, blue barrel and sump in the basement were they belonged so that we could get heaters in there to warm the water back to 80 degree. Then came the fun part....plumbing the drain and return into the basement. Luckily the week before I had, with the help of John, gotten both lines plumbed from the tank down through the floor, and across the ceiling. So we only needed to plumb down to the blue barrel and up to the ceiling from the pump.
After multiple trips to Lowes for addition "OOOOO ********" parts that we needed we got everything plumbed and all the corals and fishys back into their homes. Finished that up about 5pm. I still need to setup my ATO and AC Jr before I can call it quits for the evening. Jen and I needed a break to get some food or die
.
Sorry for the complete lack of photos ATM.....but within a day or two I'll have photos of our sweet basement setup and the display tank upstairs
.
Thanks again to all the AWESOME guys that helped out today!!!!!
