Tanks with black sand

walzy444

Sushi Anyone?
If anyone has black sand in their tanks post a pic! I'm deciding to either do just regular white sand, black, or do a mix of black and white sand... If you find any nice pics online that are not your tank, I wanna see those too! Thanks!

i had the indopacific black and white sand for years.

I didn't know black sand was magnetic

my buddy has indo pacific, looks nice

Here is my BC29 with black sand. I liked the black sand, I thought it made the colors really pop. The down side, it was magnetic.

If black sand were to stay black I wouldn't mind having it... but after awhile it looks like salt and pepper

definitly magnetic....frag tank has some nice scratch on it....dame black sand.....looks awsome though.......

hmm i really love the look of black sand, but i dont want my tank to get scratched and stick to the mag float... hmm ill shop around and try to find some non magnetic. If anyone has some back sand for sale, let me know! its for a 75gallon.. so i need about 40-60lbs... my stand is almost done.. about 2 weeks of painting!!! lol coats of oil based paint take so long to dry, but it looks amazing!! ill have pics up of my 75 set up soon. gotta start with my plumbing now :)
