Thursday.
I guess it could reach close to 100 deg.
My ACs are doing fine keeping the house at around 72 deg.
And the basement sump helps out with heat issues.
Why have the extra heat from the halides.I guess some folks do a lights out once in a while anyways.
Anybody else thinking of doing this?

I have left my lights off for 3 days before with no ill affects.

shouldnt be a problem at all... on the really hot days, i set my day lights to off, and jus run my blues... works great imo :)

GL!

Should be fine, although I'm surprised you'd need to with AC and a basement sump. I have a similar setup, with a basement sump and central AC and my heater is still on when it's in the 90s out... It will be interesting to see what it get's to Thursday though.

The tank stays at a constant 79 deg. but I'm figuring why take the chance.
I'll have to check the temp down in the basement. It rarely gets above 75 down there even during heat waves.
The fan that exhaust the heat from the canopy adds some heat to the living room.
I'll still run my blues.Like a cloudy day in the tropics.

all i run is my blue leds at this point since i have purchased them because the white is too strong at the moment.....so its been about 2 months with all blue led only and my corals couldn't be happier .......also ati blue + is a good source for attinics with great par........

I know you guys get all excited over ATI.
To be quite honest the UV T5 V-HO super actinic bulbs are very good also.Wonder how the PAR is fwiw.
But mine are like 16 months old,so might be time for a change.I really only have them for dusk dawn and a little color enhancement.

i hear good things about UV as well... however, we do know that ATI blue plus' do in fact put out good par for a blue bulb... fwiw, UV has a great rep too from what i hear...
