Thinking of selling entire setup - fair asking price?

Hi Guys -
Looking for a little advice or maybe a buyer. I was thinking of selling my fish tank but am unsure what a fair asking price would be. Here are the details :
Equipment -
180 Gallon reef tank with homemade stand, pro clear overflow box, 72" coralife light fixture with medal halides, moon lights and tube lights, 30 gallon pro clear wet/dry filter, Aqua C protein skimmer, Precision Marine protein skimmer, Precision Marine calcium reactor, U.V. sterilizer, 3 aquaclear powerheads, Eheim canister filter, 1/3 HP chiller, ozonizer, 55 gallon barrel for water changes, RO/DI filter, various spare parts and pumps.
55 gallon refugium.

Livestock -
200+ lbs pounds liverock, 1 yellow tang(4in), 1 naso tang(6in), manderin fish, 3 green damsels, 2 clowns, a few more community fish I don’t know the name of. many hermit crabs, snails, 1 sand sifting starfish, a few peppermint shrimp. green star polyps, red mushrooms, large green mushrooms, brown mushrooms, purple mushrooms, hammer coral, 15-20 orange plate corals, yellow leather corals, green plate coral, many different color/groups of zoas, pink acan, red acan, purple monti, yellow monti, green frogspawn, green chalice, purple chalice, multi-color chalice, yellow polyps, 2 -4" blue clam, pipe organ coral, 2 open brain corals, about 6 feather dusters. Probably a few things I missed.

Not willing to part out. I will help breakdown take but seller must provide containers and transport themselves.

How much should I ask? I will post pictures if I decide to sell.

$1200-$1500 but why are you selling, it sounds like a beautiful tank with the perfect setup & access?

You start talking like that and people on the forum will be all over you like as if you where pray. Can't you see I'm dwelling over those corals ? lol ;)

I would say more like $3k range based on equipment and livestock, assuming the stand is nice.

well its really hard in these time to try and sell a complete tank at 3k....your best bet is dumping the livestock first.....then no maintance and money is invested anymore then comes the tank and equipment which you can take your time selling and make the money you want.......

Agree with Mike's accessment.
Only advice I would give would be to sell some of the higher end corals seperately.
Your chalices could be worth more seperate then rolled into the package. As well as the open brain and clams.

*Acans as well.

I agree with Shawn, that is the easier route as far as getting things sold but then you also need to deal with tons of people picking stuff up and people backing out ect. What it is worth doesn't mean you will find a buyer looking for your exact set-up and you most likey will not.

I know u said u don't want to part out but what you'll probably see from past post of when entire systems are sold that usually sellers end up parting out their systems. U may have a much better chance of moving it if u end up deciding to part out. Just my opinion.

In this market, I'd say this is more realistic. It's tough, because most people will want a reef ready tank, not an overflow box, not many people use a wet/dry or a canister anymore, or the old aquaclear powerheads, and if the light has PC'c(you said tubes??) then that's a bit out of date as well. Most people would be looking at the value of the few things they want, like the chiller, reactor setup, or livestock, and figuring how they could unload the rest to recoup thier cost.

love that song, plain white t's ''hey there delilah'' tank looks awesome, a lil bit of hair algae to take care of but i think it would be a shame for you to sell, you might regret it, i know reef keeping is in my DNA. thanks for the video
