Thoughts on recent brs 160 update

ive been following the brs investigates on refugiums and there switch to triton. Notably there sump conversion. I love the simplicity and lack of socks any thoughts ?

Its got me thinking of ditching carbon dossing and swapping out my sump for a triton style sump and a life reef skimmer. I sure do hate washing sump socks.

I don’t think it’s anything really new, lots of people do similar things but don’t want the drama of explaining themselves all the time

Well I got a used 48" sump and a huge old vertex skimmer, I'll pick up a 300 watt dimmable grow light from amazon and a couple of vertex media reactors on Black Friday. Hopefully yorgos will start selling triton tests.
