Transfering new frags on plugs to rock work.

Just got 14 small frags ( mostly sps) from Pacific East AC $15 or less sale today. All frags look healthy with nice polyp extension.

How long should I wait before transferring these from the plugs to my rock work?

Any one have a good technique for removing frags from plugs?
I have been crushing the stem of the plug with pliers and working my way up crushing the plug until the frag is free. If encrusted I chip off as much as I can then glue what's left in place.

Grab some toe nail clippers/ bone cutters Clio whe the glue and the frag plug meet. The frag should come wight off.

Clip as close to the frag plug as you can. Where the glue and the frag plug meet. The glued on part should come right off the plug and then you can supper glue it where ever you want to.

As long as the frag looks healed it should be ok to snip off the plug.

Thanks for the help. I don't have the clippers so I used a mini screw driver to push on the base and they came right off. For the encrusted frags I did my old method of crushing the plug from the stem up to the frag and it came off fairly clean. All 14 frags look happy. I'll take a few pics every month and post eventually.
