transportation safeties for buying fish @ Macna

Anyone have some tips and tricks for transporting fish from Macna. I'm 6 hours away from NJ so i doubt just a bucket full of water or a bag will suffice. Any tips or links would be appreciated.

Bags should be fine, fish/corals fly from Australia to La that’s an 18 +/- flight and they are bagged well before that and sit for a few hours after...

It’s not the water that’s in issue when transporting it’s the Oxygen, if you took a bucket and a battery powered airstone that will work too. You can also do this n a cooler to help keep the temp up.

If you need a battery pump and air stone let me know I have two extras.

id personally do a 5 gal bucket with a battery air stone
they oxygenate the water before shipping long distances

Agreed with the bucket and battery air stone. And IIRC they inject 100% pure oxygen into the bag as the way to keep the oxygen levels up...
