Trumpet Coral Mounting Frag Advice

What I want to do is mount it on a rubble rock with marine epoxy. Would the epoxy have any effect on skeletal base of the coral? Skeletal base pointed. Or should I use super glue gel?

It's up to you. SG will cure faster, the key is getting the bottom of the coral to be mounted and the surface of the rock/rubble mount is to be blotted dry well. After applying the SG, let it cure for a minute or so. The putty, the dryness thing still holds, it only takes longer to cure and puts out a wee bit of heat in the process.

Thanx, the base of the trumpet coral is pointed so I drilled into the rubble rock to accept the trumpet very comfortably.
