Tubes in the tank?

hey guys theres white/clear tube looking things all over my rock i cant really get a pic for you but there not living it doesnt seem but then i look in another week and it seems to grow? any idea what this is
 
Without a pic it will be hard to tell...
 
My vermitid snails have orange shells. I really hate those buggers. Heh.

Sutton, what's the approximate size of these guys? Are they hard? Mushy? Anything like that could help.
 
Aren't those the buggers that secrete a mucus covering a coral nearby and consuming it ?

Nah they just send out feeder strands to catch stuff out of the water. The strands can be annoying when you get a group of them, but they aren't like a hydnophora or something like that. That would suck. Heh.
 
Usually vermatid "tubes" aren't white though. Or did you mean the webs? Could be spaghetti worms. Tough to say without a pic though.
 
in between my star polyps mat theres white tube like things. mayb sponges. ive never seen any sweepers come out or anything so i dont kno

theres also clear tubes on a couple rocks. kinda like spikes everywhere??

That appears to be sponges.

is there anyway to get them out or are they bad?
 
They're fine,it means the parameters are good in your tank.
