Tunze 6100 keeps shutting off

So my tunze 6100 keeps shutting off I've change driver unit + propeller and it's still doing the same thing anyone have any advise on this thank you

Have you tried running in it in a bucket full of vinegar and then giving it a thorough cleaning?

I just picked them up a week or so ago from another reefer and he did run them in vinegar for awhile before I picked them up
But I'll give it another shot. I hope it works very annoying lol keeps sounding the alarm lol

is the pump hot when it shuts off? make sure to clean out the inner part of the impeller it cools the pump. Also make sure to remove the impeller seats and assemble in outside the pump before you reinstall in.

Ok still doing it runs for about 6 hrs sometimes less and shuts off
I ran it in a bucket of vinegar for a few hours took it apart cleaned everything I could
The pump is not hot when it shuts off but the control box is warm, warmer than the other one

have you swapped out both the Driver and transformer? and checked all the connections? if so you Might post over on RC and ask roger

I have not swapped the driver and transformer I did check all connections nothing wrong there I just posted on rc see what happens thing is driving me nuts lol

so i think i found the problem there is water it the power cord from the tunze head to its control box been in there for awhile,
the plug that plugs into the control box was all Corroded cleaned it up and hasn't shut off again YET i hope this was it

is the control box wired into the pump? Can't remember....I had to send one back...Pump had failed & the box was good....Pm me....Roger at tunzie may have a used one kickin around he can sell u...If not it may b possible to upgrade to the newer model if u send him yours...(he does that for people if they r nice to him & he is in a good mood... (which is normally)

The pump has a plug that goes into the control box. You do have to take it apart but it is only 4 screws

I Doubt he has any, but you never know though. They do have a buy back/upgrade program

Roger at Tunze is great to deal with on RC. His name on RC is Rvitko. Explain your issue and post pics...he will help you out in some way or another.

Ive been talking with Roger and no luck it's deff. The box. I have 2 so I took the boxes apart and swapped the plugs ( pumps) the one that was shutting is now running and visa- versa so far no luck on finding one

id like to find out if I can use a diff. Box with same pump?
