dedfish that plumbing in your pic is not equivalent to Tunze because is not fully controllable. You'll need to add a lot of valves there to match this sweet Tunze controller:

Here's another thread to confuse you more. This guy is thinking the same. FWIW, I have a tunze 6060 in my 90 and it's great. I think the OMs are great and would consider it if I weren't so plumbing deficient and lazy. I just plugged the tunze in and off it goes. Thinking of adding another since my tank is 90% sps.

I would go for both

OM for wave.
Tunze hide low in the tank to create artificial earthquake that sends out big waves

Tunze is way too expensive if you were to get a controller with 3 Tunze pumps.
