Tunze Osmolator setup question

I setup a Tunze Osmolator and everything seemed fine, then I noticed that after reaching the proper water level the pump would turn off but water was still being pushed out (syphoned?) from my RODI container. I gave it a minute to see if it would stop but it didn't, the only way to stop this was by taking the pump out. It's a pretty straight forward install so not sure if I am doing something wrong?

Sounds like a siphon. Is the reservoir higher than the hose?

Yes, the container that I am using has a spigot on the bottom so it won't sit flat on the ground so it's sitting on top of a small desk. I'll try a bucket later and see if that does the trick. Thanks!

andyvalk is right. You need the output of the hose above the container. I put mine into the overflow box of my tank, not into the sump.
