Venting a stand

Im noticing a ton of moisture under the stand. Guess that's what happens when you run a open sump in an enclosed space, but anyway would venting the sides help at all. Would it help with evaporation?
I'm thinking of cutting a vent in both side and putting a decorative heating grate over the opening. I read people have fans blowing across. Just don't want the underside of the stand to become a mold factory. Kicking myself for not painting the inside with some kind of mold resistance paint, and with the sump being drilled and hard piped it's not that easy to remove and do now.
The way it's designed I could add a cover and cut out for the skimmer if that would help.

The vents should at the very least help the problem, not sure if they will solve it.

I put some 2inch circular vents in the hood I built, its humid in the canopy but haven't seen any moisture build up. The vents do allow for better air exchange.

Not sure if they make a vent cover with an exhaust fan enclosed. If they do you could install one of those on one side of the stand and a normal vent on the other. This would really pull fresh air into the stand and I imagine would significantly cut down on moisture build up. It would increase your evaporation rate however so keep an eye on salinity,

Below is the vents I used, pretty easy to install just used a 2inch hole saw for the cutout. Had to file down the hole a little as it was too tight for the vent. They come in white and I found them in the roofing section of Home Depot, they spray paint easily to match stand color.
