I just wanted to let BRS members know that recently there have been multiple new accounts formed on the BRS forum that are most likely being created to decieve our members into believing they are someone they are not. Please be very cautious when contacted by, or reading posts from a new member. The contact\post might be legit, it might not.
It always best to be leary of people you do not know/have not met on the internet. One of the benefits of belonging to a local reefkeeping group with an online forum, is the ability to meet members at our monthly meetings to get a better sense of who you are dealing with online.
We denounce this practice of creation of multiple accounts as unethical, immoral, and a serious violation of the rules you agree to when you use this forum. Such violations are grounds for immediate removal from the forum, and the BOD will take into consideration such violations when and if ever petitioned for re-instatement to the forum/club.
