Water change interval question ?

I was wondering if I should be doing weekly/bi weekly water changes to my 90 gal which has only been set up for a month ? It cycled in a week and levels seem right where they sdhould be.

Seems very quick for a cycle.
Did you use already established live rock and sand?

If not did you see your ammonia spike then come back down?

Water changes vary depending on bio-load and or trace elements being used.
I have a 150g with a medium bio-load and do bi-weekly changes. But I also have a Calcium Reactor to help maintain proper levels (calcium primarily).

I had rock and sand from a friends tank and ammonia spiked then went down to zero as well as nitrites. I am buying a calcium reactor this week.

How heavy into corals do you plan on being?
Calcium Reactors are usually not required right out of the gate.

Yes your right not going that route I have a few that's about the extent of it until I get a handle on all of this.

Back to your original question, keep all your parameters in check especially being a "young" system and maybe start with bi-weekly water changes until you notice things get worse.
Just keep your bio-load small and take your time until all the beneficial bacteria has a chance to mature :)
