Hey all,
Got a question or two regarding water flow. My original issue is with my two torch corals.......their tentacles retract and don't open up like they should, or like they looked when I bought them. I've been placing them in different places in my tank, and one seems to be doing better lower in the tank with lesser flow. The problem I have is that I can't seem to get any low flow areas in my tank. I have a 90G with two koralia 3's at each end, but no matter where I point them, it seems to be too much. My Xenia is suffering from whiplash, and the strong flow seems to hinder the other torch from flourishing.
So, should I simply use koralia 2's instead, or is there a preferred placement of torch corals in the tank? Is there a recommended flow...top pointing down or opposite, etc?
Thanks!
