Water Test Spread Sheet Coral Tank

Wanted to have a spread sheet to track when water tests were done or need to be done. What's some of the tests to track water quality. Here's what I'd start with for the list: salinity, calcium, alkalinity, pH, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Temperature at time of test. Is there anything else to test for water quality?

There was a thread a few months ago about some freeware/shareware reef-tracking programs already out there. I can't find it though.

Magnesiun. while your at it do TDS into and out of RODI, water change amount and Notes

I also track test kit expiration date, livestock additions, bulb changes.

Ah Magnesiun. good one. TDS?? I have a RODI. Yes water changes, a good one to add and expiration dates, livestock dates added notes. Can't forget bulb changes.....important one.

Behrmon, I'll do a search for threads about some freeware/shareware reef-tracking programs.
Gives me a start to get my tracking records into a spread sheet.

You need a TDS meter to see when your RO/DI filters/resin needs replacing. A good RO/DI unit should test 0 TDS.

Thanx TomD for filling me in on the TDS meter. You just can't assume the RODI is always suplying clean water, specially in Lowell.
