I was looking at the tank today and noticed a little creature crawling on the front of the glass. It looks like a small snail but w/o the shell. It had little tentacles over it's body. I took it out of the tank and it's in a specimen container so that I can get a better pic when I get back from doing errands. So pic will be coming soon...

Sounds like a cowrie. They have flesh that some times will cover the shell. If you disturb it, the flesh should recede back into the shell.

Sounds like a cowrie, bubble shell, or shell-less snail

Reading it again, it does sound like a nudi. Do you have any zoas or montipora in your tank?

Yup, I thought I included Nudi in my list, but I didn't.

Did you dip the zoas in anything like iodine or fresh water before adding them to your tank? Check your zoas if you haven't. It sounds like you may have zoa eating nudis. Give them a dip in one of the above if you haven't already. They will come off very easily when exposed to an iodine bath if you do indeed have them.

I did do a dip before I put them in my tank. I stuck it in my FOWLR 29 gal tank just in case it was a bad guy...

Don't freek out to much. It could be a nudi but it might not be one that eats zoas or montapora.

Do a search for both and compare pictures. If yours looks the same then you can worry.
