What critters are you guys putting in your sump??

I have one turbo snail in each of my 3 chambers to keep algae away since I run a refugium light 24/7. Then in the middle section (the refugium) I have a bunch of pods, and I also have a hermit crab that's been in "time out" for about 4 months because he's an a** and kept moving all my corals around and knocking everything over and putting them in caves to die. Anyone wants him they can take him for free lol. I also acclimate all my fish and corals with my sump.

I have hundreds of pounds of live rock w a semi criptic zone there's all kind of critters in there. Crabs, snails, even a damsel that rode down my overflow line into the basement. I've seen brittle stars, stometelas, and I think there's a few cleaner shrimp in there somewhere too.

Lol Shane how could you possibly unknowingly have cleaner shrimp down there? Did you buy them and not know if they survived down there, or hitch hikers? I don't get it, hahaha.

I got some ghost shrimp from a member, saw one swimming around the other day

Yeah I had them in the display like 4-5 and then move some rock around and saw one down there, must have been in the rock I moved. I only have two upstairs now so either they croaked or they are down there somewhere hiding. There's too many places to hide

I currently am housing a pair of juvenile maroon clowns. A blue spot watchman goby. Some snails. hermits and a ton of pods

I just have a lot of rocks, but no light, I threw all my chaeto away, my oversized skimmer is too good.

I have a pistol shrimp and his Yellow watchman goby that were making a huge mess in the display now they live in the sump also have a "HUGE" hermit crab that was murdering all other crabs in the DT so now he owns the skimmer section of the sump. And as everyone else who has a sump I have millions of PODS.
