What do you think of this overflow setup?

I picked up a 75-gal tank that has (2) 1-1/2" holes and (2) 3/4" holes already drilled to fix the problem I've been having with my overflow box once and for all. I came across these plans on RC for an overflow that uses three drains. I guess the third drain acts as an emergency siphon. Has anyone used anything like this? This is my first time setting up a tank that is drilled. Is it worth drilling a third hole to copy this setup? I want to minimize the chances for a flood.

So you've used something similar? Do you recommend drilling a third hole?

2, 1.5" drains will handle 1000gph easily. The need for a 3rd would depend on how much water return pump will move.
The pic I linked to is one of my tanks.
I think if it were mine, I would set it up as is and keep return < 1000gph

Cool. I'm less concerned with flow and more concerned with flooding. My current tank, a46-bow w/ hang-on overflow box, has overflowed twice and I've been told if it happens again the tank will have to go.

How do you like the full-length overflow? I was thinking of building an overflow box like the one in the DIY section that someone made recently.

Coast to coast overflow works slick. I made a screen out of "Gutter Guard" for it.
Is an easier build than the boxes, and strenghtens the back glass - which caqn be tied to the front like my SWAM build link, but I like boxes too. Just bought and installed 2 on a 120g. The back panel on those in that thread aren't needed. The box just gets siliconed to the back glass.

I'm not sure of the name but it's the overflow that was included with my sump. The sump says Pro Clear Aquatic Systems, Jacksonville, FL on it.
