I wanted to know what others did when they have had to much coral in their tank? What frustrations have you had with selling/ getting decient prices, or trading with coral stores and where...Thought it would be insightful and interesting topic.

They give it to me

Sps..?...lps...?

Well if you are looking to frag them and donate them to the upcoming auction... you can take a tax deduction...

Plus support the club, which helps pay for speakers, equipment for fragging meetings and DIY demo supplies.

That is just one thought in a positive direction, which helps other fellow reefers and the club.

Good luck with your ethical choices.

To add another option, there are non-profit educational organizations such as Oceanus the Inland Reef. We gladly accept coral and fish donations and use these to support our tanks and programs. Also tax deductible - :)

well you can give them to me for 1 percent off the actual costs....lol....... and then show me how to grow them like you ;)

store credit or a beutiful overstocked frag tank ..to experiment with ..leds here halides here

I let them grow and touch each other. Some corals will fight and the tips touching each other will die, which is fine. I like to see the aquarium full.
But I do trim the corals once in a while.
