Today I was watching "Nemo" with my daughter, again.

In the dentist's tank, there is a blue fish with strips, the one that kept taking to her reflection "Flo".

What is it? Some sort of angel?

nah, there is another one. i know what dong is talking about. It's blue, has two white stripes down the middle (dorsal to ventral), light blue patch on the dorsal fin and a white anal and caudal fin...almost looks like a butterfly fish maybe?

I tried testing my "fish knowledge" by trying to name all of the fish in the movie but I was also stumped by that blue one...I've never seen that one before.

great. Thanks for the info, guys.

I already have one, that is even better.

You are right on, Jeff.

My daughter insists that it is some sort of angel fish, not a damsel.

Dong, it sounds like your building a "Finding Nemo" tank to get your kids interested!!

Thats actually a pretty good idea!

But where ya gonna find that volcanoe with the "Ring of Fire!!!" :D

ray has a castle you can use in the mean time.

Deb
Species: Black & White Humbug Voice Talent: Vicki Lewis Probably a Gemini at heart, Deb and her identical twin sister, Flo, are like two peas in a pod. They do everything together: swim, laugh, share secrets... They are a perfect match. And it?s for this reason that the rest of the tank gang does not have the heart to tell Deb that Flo is merely her reflection on the tank glass.

Bubbles. Bubbles. My bubbles.
Love that whole movie. For the most part it's accurate.

I was a freshwater hobbyist for many years and hate to admit it but that show took me into saltwater. Not a movie just for kids.
