What is this and is it good or bad?

I found a small patch of this stuff before I went away on vacation to Orlando. I come back and it's all over the rock in several places some areas 2 to 3 feet from the orig. location. Don't know what it is or if it's good or bad any help to identify it would be great. I hope the pictures are good enough.
Thanks

flatworms, theyre only bad in large numbers as they suck the O2 out at night but flatworm exit will take care of them with 3 doses a few days apart..

That is a lot. They are more harmful when they die because they release toxins. There is a lot of info about using Sailfert flatworm exit.

I have never done it but I would try and to siphon as many out as possible and gi slow with the exit, syphoning while they die.

Here is a link with some info:

follow the directions that come with it and you should be ok.. I had a bleaching problem with some sps first time I used it but everything recovered nicely, I think I over used the charcoal after I did my water change and thats what might have caused the bleaching.. But make sure you use it several times to insure you get them all.. space it out, I did mine about a week apart each time. I still have a few in the sump but they havent been any prob. not really enough light there I think for them to get going again ( been about 4 months and no population explosion) but i do keep a watch on them..
