Hi,
I want too get a set of power heads to add flow on a 65 gallon 36? x 18? I am setting up. It will also be using a mag 7 sump return pump.Thinking about the new Hydor Koralia pumps. Maybe with some sort of wave timer. The Koralia comes in 400, 600, 850, or 1200 GPH pump sizes. I was thinking about using between 800 ? 900 GPH powerheads. Would that be good choice or do you think they are too large or small for a 36 inch tank?
I am planning a mixed reef tank with a little of everything but will have sps and maybe a clam. Lighting will be 2 x 150 hqi and t5s. I am also planning on using a sand bed.
Does anyone have experience or recommends for what size powerheads I should use on a 36 inch tank?
Thanks in advance for you sugestions.
Dave
