Where did my yellow coris wrasse go?

Most wrasses bury themselves to sleep. Coris among them. So he will most likely show up later today or tomorrow

Yup at night or when they are scared they dive under the sand. Give it a few to get comfy, it will turn up

Also do not be scared if you go a couple of days without seeing the wrasse, they take some time to adjust to their new home and may hide for the first week or so.

Good luck, they are a great fish, I have three in my reef tank, they are out all the time once they adjusted to the tank.

Glad to hear! Great fish... ours seems to sleep more and more as it's gotten older. Although it could be a bit shell shocked... When we had our temporary tank set up, it had a glass cover and it brained itself repeatedly. I've also saved it from floor a few times too.
