I went to local Home Depot, but the employee looked at me like I had 2 heads, and told me he had no idea what I was talking about. Right.

Any leads would be great. If anyone has any lying around they d like to sell, Id greatly appreciate that too.

I need 1-1/4" Spa Flex for my drains, and also I need 3/4 " plastic hose clamps for my return pumps.

Also, how do people go about attaching the SpaFlex to their bulk heads?

Rounds Hardware in Stoneham had it last time I was there. I attached mine with regular pvc glue.

O'Connor Hardware in Billerica has plenty of Spa flex.
When using Spa Flex, you need to use the blue "rain shine" PVC cement. It is meant for use with spa flex.

You can use regular cement, but you are suposed to use the rain shine, blue cement for the spaflex. that is just the industry standard. If there is a chance that the plumbing will be flexed at all, I strongly recomend the Blue cement. It gives a much better hold on the flexible stuff. I have had regular cement crack over time and cause a leak, but never when I have used the blue stuff. just my opinion and experience.

There is special cement for Spa Flex, it doesn't cost more or anything, if your application is critical (and aren't they all ;)) I'd say use the recommended cement. The stuff I used wasn't blue, but it was marked as being for use with flexible PVC tubing. I honestly can't say I know that there is any difference at all between the two products, but for the sake of a couple days if you have to order it, why not play it safe?

you can also get spaflex at savko.com. about 1/2 the price of any place local you will find it, even with shipping. if you need any quantity that is the place to go. also recommend at the very least the heavy duty pvc cement, look for the specific flexible pvc recommendation like Dave said.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I totally forgot we just opened a lowes not to far from my house. I will check their prices and some on line distrivutors I found.

Thanks again.
