I had noticed several small white anemones growing on a small rock in the front of my tank..the other day is was looking down the back of tank, on the rocks on the back side of the tank and I noticed there is a lot of these white anemones in the tank..I am assuming they are not good..there is a lot of them, I have tried to take a pic of them but it does not come out..any idea of what it may be and how to get rid of it? I do not want them taking over my tank and killing everything..I am still fairly new to this hobby and I have lots of questions....
any help and guidence is greatly appreciated...
thanks.

Could it be aptasia?

Thats what I was thinking. Pepermint shrimp should take care of them. Be carefull if you have dottybacks or some types of wrasse cause i think they will kill them. My dottyback killed 3 already so I injected the apastia with lemon juice. That method also works.

aiptasia was the first thing that came to my mind. I second the peppermint shrimp, I have had much better luck with one of those in my 10 gallon then I ever did with Joe's Juice.

I don't think it is aptasia, when I first set up my 20 gallon tank, I had three of them and the pepermint shrimp ate them..these are white and seem to growing very quickly and spreading, they are all overteh back of my rocks in the back of thetank and the only reason I saw them was I had my cover off and was looking down the back..I will try the pepermint shrimp..I am actually going to bring a small rock I have with some of these on it to the AG and hope they can identify and tell me how to get rid of it...I don't want it over taking my tank...

Maybe featherdusters?

Now I'm curious, any chance for a pict?

Nope its not pineapple sponge or feather dusters...It is hard to get a pic...they are small and don't come out in the pic..
last night I brought a small piece of my rock with several of these on it down to the Aquarium Gallery so I am hoping they will identify it...
