White spots on Tomini Tang. Need advice

Hey guys, just saw these spots. Looks like abrasion to me, but wanted to ask. Also not sure how/why she’d scratched herself. Thoughts on what it could be? She seems to me acting normally. I haven’t witnessed rubbing, aggression, etc

Edit: looking at photos from yesterday, she did not have these marks

I haven’t measured parameters today, but generally
Nitrate: 2-5ppm
Phosphate: 0.02ppm
PH: 8.2
Salinity: 1.026
Alk: 9.2
Calc: 400

Based on those pictures looks to me like an abrasion. Maybe bumped a rock or coral. Maybe a fight with a tank mate

Clearly your tank is like Kryptonite to this gorgeous fish and you should give it to me right away.....lol
Hopefully a freak issue and it heals up quickly. Any chance you moved some aquascape or the fish is new to the tank? Tangs take off like a rocket sometimes and I'm amazed how they don't ping the other end of the tank and knock themselves out from time to time.....

Thanks. You’re spot on. The scrapes are already healed. I don’t have vitamins handy so I soaked the food in garlic and fed some nori. Seems like she’s healthy enough to bounce back.
