Looking to cut corners in setting up a large tank. Have heard about NSW, and didn't know where people got in Mass. I have easy access to Plymouth beach(all the way at the point) white horse (kinda crapy) Cape cod, and a few others. Just wondering where people got their NSW if they use it!!

Thanks

use it and love it... collect from ethir cranes beach in ipswich or from plum cove beach in glouchester... have been using for 8 months....

I changed from well water (with RO/DI) this summer to NSW it was like day and night with my tank I will never go back. I collect at the mouth of Falmouth harbor about two hr before high tide. I do a lot of large water changes, 18 gal on my 75 every two weeks. I have NO algae any more and my corals are growing so fast they keep me awake nights.

NSW RULES!!!!!!!

I have been using it for several months now, I am just about ready to start up my prop system, 250+ gallons all with NSW
I get mine in Beverly. I have a 325 gallon water tank in my truck

what about near plymouth. I'm not really up to going back and forth from CARVER to Falmouth for 600+ gallons when i set it up?? I as thinking the point at plymouth beach, i can drive out in my truck and fill up trash barrels. That would be a lot easier, but i'm not sure if this is good water... I could have it tested? any thoughts?

DJ, one would assume as long as the tide is incoming, your not collecting right next to a natural waste pipe, too close to business and not right after a storm...you will prob be ok.

I'm not suggesting you come to Falmouth to collect your NSW you asked who uses it and where in MASS they collect it.

i no i asked that! :) I was interested on how you know it is safe to use? I would think that plymouth would be safe, it isnt near the powerplant. the only thing is, is boats are constantly going back and forth. would this nake a difference?
