If I move the sun polyps further into a cave, is it unlikely that the Acans will follow? I figure since there is no light, they will not grow into it...

I've never seen an Acan with sweepers that long, they'd have to be almost touching IMO.

Definitely. My concern is that the Acans are soon going to grow into the Sun Polyps and do exactly that.

FYI: Acan vs. Favia battle: Favia wins by TKO. But the Acan will recover.

Acans are pretty agressive, Acan echinatas are just crazy agressive. My Acan Echinata needs to be 5"+ from anything or it sends out stingers and devours anything it touches. Even if you get the coral before it is totally gone many times you can't even save it.
