Wire & Tube management

Finally got around to cleaning up all the tubes and mounting them in the stand.

Wire management is next. I’m dealing with soo many wires and power adaptors that I’m kinda stumped on how to sustainably clean them up where I won’t have to take everything down if I want to replace 1 component.

What are some best practices or how you OCD reefers are dealing with prettying up your wires?

I've just given up on my wire management and moved it way down the list of things to do but it drives me nuts! Yours already looks much better!

place power bars instead of running extensions. example place a power bars on both sides of the tank and/or place them next to sump/frag tanks that way its assigned just to that part of the tank instead of being all mixed up.

My issue is I need to have everything plugged into the apex outlets since I travel often and need to stay aware of everything operating normally.
I’ve actually got individual extensions for each outlet to avoid reach issues but still need a good way to mount power adapters and wires neatly.

I’m thinking I’ll make a sliding panel for them to be mounted on and mount the panel to the back of the stand so it slides out the side, but I know that’s not the safest option haha

Get more apex power bars and dedicate them to certain areas. It’ll avoid long extension runs and become easier to just unplug. Also you could use a very long ( I use a 36” ) power strip and run stuff from the left side to the left part and right side to the right part of it but you lose the apex control.

I ran my wires insides of small plastic cable tray. But you are right , it looks amazing until you have to remove or clean something. It’s still worth it, just difficult once a year cleaning return or skimmer etc.
