Always been one of my favorite wrasses out there. These tamarin wrasses just so finicky to get eating. Finally managed to keep one and this one is now fully on frozen mysis and started eating pellets and wafers.

Absolutely gorgeous fish with blue dots on a pearl-white body.

Wow nice fish…where did you find her?

This particular one from NYaquatic. I think what really helps was I completely skipped any QT process and put her straight into my DT after drip acclimating.
Great to hear! They are amazing looking fish!

Update: she's gradually chonking up, my dusky chase her once a while but she seems to stand up to him gracefully

The said dusky. Whitetail as size reference lol

Just recently received the iconic platygyra from a Tidal Gardens sale. The sky blue pigment on it is surreal, it's not from the blue light reflection. Crazy to see blue sparkle on actual coral tissues.

Also I really want to give TG a special shout out. It's my first time ordering from Tidal Gardens but I have to say it is the best experience I had amongst all the big name online store. Frags are big, healthy, beautiful, and most importantly looks exactly like what they show in pictures (not just some overpriced snub or overly saturated photos). Their customer service is super accommodating and price is very reasonable during sale compared to the size of the frag they sent. Fingers crossed I am hoping grow this out into a colony and offload a few frag down the road to others.

Mod - any chance we can move this thread to build thread? I am tempted to start doing some photoshoot over time and document my reef.
