Well the other day we had our yearly service done on our house filtration system. We have had a slight smell in the laundry room from the water. So they poured bleach into the system. Now I was not home during this so I am not sure exactly where or how much was used. So on my RODI I have valves on the input and output that I keep closed unless I am making water which I was not at the time but I am going to need to in a few days. So there should not be any bleach in the system. I am thinking of disconnecting my input and let that run a for 10-15 minutes to make sure there is no residual bleach on that leg of the plumbing.
Does that sound sufficient enough as a precaution? Has this happened to anyone else, if so what did you do? Not sure what bleach does to the RODI system.
Thanks
