Is 15 hours too long? My blues come on at 7am. 8am is all lights? At 9pm, just blues, 10pm all off. Too much? If so, what should I set it to? Possible harm to livestock?

you should be fine with that lighting cycle. you may see some nuisance algae growth tho

My halides are on from 3:00-9:00pm,6 hrs.
JMO,but I think 15 hrs. is too much.

My lights run from 4 to midnight, 8 hours. My halide tank runs 5 to midnight, 7 hours. My actinics run solo the first and last hour. I also think 15 hours is kind of long, unless of course your tank is in a room with no other lighting, like a closet or something. I would imagine your bulbs will lose their optimum spectrum much sooner running them that long too.

Well the tank is in a closet. Only front is visible. But I will change the light cycle. Thanks.
BTW - lighting is 8x54 T5. 4 blue+, 3 aquablue special, 1 purple+

I run my DT LEDs like this:
07:00am - 08:00am: Moonlights only
08:00am - 12:00pm Sunrise mode: Whites from 10->55, Blues from 10->70 ... ramp up over 3 hours
12:00pm - 04:00pm Midday mode: Whites constant at 55, Blues constant at 70
04:00pm - 08:00pm Sunset mode: Whites from 55->10, Blues from 70->10 ... ramp down over 3 hours
08:00pm - 11:00pm: Moonlights only
I'm still twiddling with the percentages of whites vs blues and the max percentage. I originally had a longer light period but this seemed more natural.
On the frag tank, with the PacSun Triton, I'm running the Natural Bali program. Supposed to simulate the lighting of Bali.
Besides the bulb/spectrum issues Goby mentioned, 15 hours just seems like too much. Think about what the light is like in their natural habitat... are the daylight hours 15 hours long?

I agree with the others about 15 hours being a bit too much. FWIW, I used to run my lights for 12 hours and have gone down to a 9 hour cycle and haven't noticed any difference. The tank does get some natural sunlight during the morning though.

12pm-10pm with a 2 hour ramp up and down time. That seems to work great for me
