New England Frag Farmers Market - Saturday March 8th

Just for the record, yes this is my first time, and I am not an advocate or solicitating for anyone else or have anything to gain by doing so. I know a lot about the event through my club, and my fellow clubbies and good friends. I know many of the vendors personally, and I know the corals they keep and sell and the prices they ask. I ask a ton of questions, and I do a whole lot of research and follow closely, and communicate ALOT :)

This is a huge and great event and a benefit to any reefer near and far.

This will be my first time too, hopefully can score some clams for my filtration clam tank I am building, they do have clams for sale right?

Hi Dong,

Hope to see you there. They just might have more frags for sale there than you do! ::

See you there

Yes dong they have quite a few gorgeous clams at the event. Last year it was last room on the left side of the hall. Pacific East aquaculture had all the beauties.

Are you going?

I'm gonna try and make it too, but with my schedule who knows. I did go last year and there were tons of great stuff there. Wish I had brought more cash,
They had tons of clams dong, PAC east aquaculture had hundreds of em

Went and got 10 really nice zoa/paly frags for 145 bucks. WELL WORTH my trip.

Great fun there, many vendors and tons of people, parking is a big issue.
it is a LED galore, only two people, Greg Hiller and another hobbyist using metal halide. Hard to tell the true color of most of the coral. Jason Fox was there too with some nice stuff.

Was that Jason Fox himself selling $900 coral ?

Yes, that is the man. I bought an acro from him too.

There is another guy with that giant donut coral in the tank but he was not selling it. That is a piece of insane coral. There was a Space invader pectina in one of the vendors tank too, but for $350, too rich for what it was.

Have you seen that shark in the touching pool? It was so cute but I don't have a 20,000 gallon tank, yet

I am bummed I missed it. I was suppose to go and then my car decided it was going to start spewing gas all over the ground. By the time I fixed it it was 3:55 there is always next year.

The best coral I got today is from...Greg Hiller!
170 miles round trip for that...

Shark pool was very cool, they have live shark egg there as well.
