Got into a fight with my green slimmer colony

It Won. Was cleaning my tank the other day and my arm rubbed against my green slimmer. Apparently I developed an allergy to it because it really started stinging and got a significant skin reaction... Didn't expect that from this corol.

WOW...we've been looking for a green slimer colony if you want to take out some revenge on it I'll remove it. Hope that clears up. Corals are in the same phylum as jellyfish...

It has actually healed up pretty well. It took a couple of weeks but it is barely noticeable now.

Did they put you on steroids to curb the reaction? I had an allergic reaction to a type of medicine that looked exactly the same but on a much worse spot lol... Doc's said reaction would happen in the same spot and possibly get worse and worse leading up to anaphylaxis shock. Worry it could be the same for you looks like it's time to get a pair of these bad boys lol

I actually didn't go to see a doctor, I just used some over the counter stuff. I figured it would eventually heal.

I probably should get some longer gloves in case I ever have to work around it.
