Post your answer below and why you choose this method over the others.

My issue with water movement is that I cannot get the flow as high as I would like without creating a sand dune that buries my sandbed corals so I'm always pushing the edge of the envelope on flow. Are there any good tricks for directing flow to minimize sandbed disturbance while otherwise maximizing flow?
My other issue is that algae grows relatively quickly on power heads and reduces flow, then I clean them and get too much flow, hard to keep stable.

One thing you can do is place the power-heads lower in the tank and aim them to the surface across the tank

If you place them closer to the front and aim them to the opposite back corner you can probably turn up the flow a bit.

Aren’t those small in a 200g tank?
I run 2x 6095 in a 29 biocube at about 30% now because I have some hammers in there and they get beat up a lot. Had them running at about 50% before the hammers.

As the Poll states, these pumps or similar styled pumps. I believe Tunze are similar to Hydor. #winning

Ouch!!! That's like comparing a Ferrari to a Ford Escort in terms of power! I own both and there is no comparison.
Style not performance, geesh all you guys/gals are too much.
