Too much SPS polyp extension

Is there such thing as too much PE? Some of my sps are too hairy comparing to what ive seen on internet.

That is absolutely normal, some genus have even more PE than that. Your sticks look nice and happy

i think there can be too much, but it has to be so much so that the base and inner branches get blocked by the light. you can solve the problem by adding an angel or other harmless nipper of sps. either way, in your case it's probably not a problem yet because those frags arent branching much.

2 weeks ago 350-400 under LED. Now 400-450 T5 hybrid

If your light wasn’t right they would not extend

If you want less you can always increase your water motion. But I agree, extension is not a problem. When I had an orange-spot filefish (eats coral, I had one long term that did well and only ate Acro) all my Acros had their polyps during the day completely retracted. Didn't hurt them at all either.
